The teams of SEGUCE DRC, the local operator, and SOGET, have just deployed the new air module.

The Single Window for Congolese Foreign Trade is thus consolidating its role as a secure multimodal digital platform for the management of transit of goods in DR Congo.

Indeed, since the summer of 2021, the involvement of numerous pilot-actors from Air France, flyCAA, DHL, Ethiopian Airlines, Lufthansa, RwandAir Ltd, and Turkish Airlines alongside SEGUCE DRC had facilitated the rapid deployment of air-related functionalities in S)ONE, in accordance with the country’s business processes and international standards: the air module of the S)ONE PCS has been natively developed in accordance with the standards of the international air transport association IATA.

S)ONE DRC thus ensures real-time traceability of shipments in transit through the airports of the capital Kinshasa and Lubumbashi, the cross-border hub of the southeastern province of Katanga.

Now already more than 75% of operators have EDI interfaces between S)ONE and their own systems, with all operators to be connected by early 2022.

Following this, the launch of the last modules for the management of land and air export flows, as well as the deployment of BI tools, will complete this colossal project, which has been carried out since 2015 by SEGUCE DRC, the local operator of the single window in charge of the deployment in the country, and by SOGET.
