Da Nang–Le Havre twinning partnership reaches a new milestone during an official visit

Following the port-city twinning agreement signed on October 7, 2025 between Da Nang and Le Havre, both committed to a shared Smart Ports vision, SOGET continues its engagement through the PCS Project for Da Nang. 

The 10th February marked a key milestone with the visit of the Da Nang People’s Committee to LOGI VIETFRANCE.
The meeting included the presentation of our 12 IT engineers, trained in Le Havre through SOGET internships and the launch of a working seminar dedicated to the LOGI VIETFRANCE x SOGET roadmap – horizon 2026.

Discussions highlighted Da Nang’s potential, driven by an ambitious vision : 

• Lien Chieu Port as an international gateway,
• Viet Nam’s first Free Trade Zone,
• major logistics hubs,
• strategic multimodal connectivity.

With a target of 30 Mt/year and ~5.7 millions TEUs by 2030+, Da Nang is positioning itself as a regional transshipment hub.

The Port Community System plays a key role in streamlining flows, improving performance, and securing data sharing.
SOGET reaffirms its active contribution to international cooperation focused on innovation and port performance.
