SOGET, Partner in the AIVP AGM in Le Havre

    “Competing through port-city animation” is the central topic of the AIVP (the worldwide network of Port cities) General Meeting held in Le Havre on June 29th an 30th. Port city facilitation includes the ability to animate an extended community of logistics stakeholders with sometimes heterogeneous concerns. Wishing to be directly involved with its historical partner AIVP, SOGET has Mobilized Dr. Yann Alix, Head of Marketing and Strategy to moderate these 2 days of sharing and collaboration. As the Master of ceremony, Yann will leverage of SOGET ‘s international community-based track record on one hand and the knowledge of SEFACIL foundation -as the General Secretary of the foundation- on a second hand.

Join us at the WCO IT conference!

    SOGET takes part to the WCO IT conference, held this year in Tbilisi, Georgia from 7th to 9th June 2017 and entitled “The power of Data, advancing border management”. Dr. Yann Alix, Head of marketing and strategy of SOGET will share French public private experience in term of innovative trade facilitation research by presenting TRAFIS Lab. He will also be part of the techtalks to give some feedback on our worldwide PCS projects. As a sponsor of the event, SOGET will exhibit on booth Nr 18, our team will be more than happy to interact with you on existing Port Community System and future projects!

IPCSA expands membership

    The International Port Community Systems Association (IPCSA) has expanded its membership criteria so that Single Window Operators can now enjoy the benefits of becoming members. An important step forward, recognizing the common ground between Port Community Operators (PCSs) and Single Window Operators in trade facilitation. As a founding member of the IPCSA in 2011, SOGET is proud to support this initiative encouraging more digital collaboration for trade facilitation.

CCLEC annual meeting with SOGET

    SOGET, as a longtime partner of the Caribbean Customs Law enforcement Council, is taking part to the 39th annual meeting which focuses on "Digital partnerships in a connected world". An accurate topic for SOGET that is a pillar of digital connectivity between trade stakeholders around the World. The event is held in Miami from 22d to 25th May 2017. Pascal Ollivier, our Director of Corporate development in collaboration with the French Customs representative will introduce French innovative public private Research laboratory for trade facilitation : TRAFIS Lab.

IPCSA granted UN consultative status

    Founded in 2011 by SOGET and its German, British, Spanish and Dutch counterparts, the International Port Community Systems Association (IPCSA) has just been granted special consultative status at the United Nations. This represents an important achievement which underlines the critical role that Port Community Systems play in global trade facilitation.
