SOGET showcases its expertise in Cotonou

    In the framework of its historical partnership with PMAWCA (Port Management Authority of West and Central Africa), SOGET is invited to present its international experiences at the occasion of a symposium dedicated to port IT solutions. This international seminar is held from July 24th to 26th at Cotonou, Benin. It’ll gather representatives from a dozen African Port Authorities. Lately - in March this year -, SOGET took part to a Masterclass focusing on Port Community Systems in Africa under the aegis of PMAWCA.

    In Cotonou, two experts will present our strategic vision and will discuss with IT and digital management specialists.

1st Meet’Up Smart Up in Le Havre

    SOGET, along with the Port of Le Havre, HAROPA as well as the Chamber of Commerce and various representative organization of our logistics community, attends to the 1st Meet’up – Smart Port next June, 26th at Le Havre. With more than 30 years of experience in PCS, SOGET would challenge a group of 10 start’upers in order to maintain its cutting edge advantages. SOGET advocates for creating smarter logistics communities through stronger collaborative approaches. The 1st Meet’up – Smart Port is part of a collective effort to turn the Port of Le Havre and the HAROPA Logistics Corridor into ever smarter integrated transportation solution.

Caribbean: SOGET joins PMAC 20th AGM

    As an associate member of the Port Management Association of the Caribbean, SOGET supports the 20th Annual General Meeting of the association, held this year in Grand Cayman from June, 21st to 23th.

    SOGET has a long track record in Caribbean providing Guadeloupe port community and recently Jamaica with its PCS technology. World widely recognized for its expertise on Trade Facilitation, Pascal Ollivier, Director of corporate Development will introduce: “WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement Implementation Challenges” as Key Note Speaker at the strategic Session.

SOGET, Partner in the AIVP AGM in Le Havre

    “Competing through port-city animation” is the central topic of the AIVP (the worldwide network of Port cities) General Meeting held in Le Havre on June 29th an 30th. Port city facilitation includes the ability to animate an extended community of logistics stakeholders with sometimes heterogeneous concerns. Wishing to be directly involved with its historical partner AIVP, SOGET has Mobilized Dr. Yann Alix, Head of Marketing and Strategy to moderate these 2 days of sharing and collaboration. As the Master of ceremony, Yann will leverage of SOGET ‘s international community-based track record on one hand and the knowledge of SEFACIL foundation -as the General Secretary of the foundation- on a second hand.

Join us at the WCO IT conference!

    SOGET takes part to the WCO IT conference, held this year in Tbilisi, Georgia from 7th to 9th June 2017 and entitled “The power of Data, advancing border management”. Dr. Yann Alix, Head of marketing and strategy of SOGET will share French public private experience in term of innovative trade facilitation research by presenting TRAFIS Lab. He will also be part of the techtalks to give some feedback on our worldwide PCS projects. As a sponsor of the event, SOGET will exhibit on booth Nr 18, our team will be more than happy to interact with you on existing Port Community System and future projects!
