Spotlight on SOGET's Women

    On the occasion of World Ocean Day, Ms Laurence Debain, International Functional Expert and SOGET employee since its creation in 1983, will participate in the "Elles de l'océan" on Friday 8 June at the French National Assembly. She will show her vision and experience during the panel discussion on "Balance between private and professional life, and examples of expatriation" in the section on the challenges of feminization.

    Organised by Elles Bougent in partnership with the French Maritime Cluster, the CNRS and WISTA, this event celebrates the women of the maritime world and aims to introduce young women to the sea and maritime careers. It is an opportunity for Laurence to present the diversity of professions offered by SOGET, which now employs 47 women, representing 39% of its workforce.

Meet the SOGET teams at SITL 2018!

    The SOGET team will be present this year on the HAROPA stand (#L95) during the SITL 2018 which will be held from 20 to 23 March at the Palais des Expositions in Paris Nord Villepinte. This trade show will be an excellent opportunity to discover the latest innovations of SOGET as current implementation of S)ONE in France, Jamaica and the DRC. Our latest innovative R&D initiative, TRAFIS Lab, will be highlighted during the Maritime Day with a presentation by Jean-Michel Thillier, President of TRAFIS LAB and Deputy Director of French Customs on March 21. S)ONE on the Seine Gateway: it works!

    The success has been achieved through the use of S)ONE PCS by all container shipping companies as well as stakeholders managing ro-ro and bulk cargo traffic on the Seine Gateway. 100% of Voyages, 100% of Manifests, 100% of Movements reports, 100% of Customs Declarations related to the discharge of goods, are processed through S)ONE PCS. During the French Government's General Secretary of the Sea and the General Directorate of Customs and Excise visit to SOGET HQ on January 30th, a live demonstration of S)ONE PCS  was given and notably one of S)ONE's major innovations: the module of predictive analysis of port passage. GPMH and SOGET present the S-WiNG-S)ONE integration to UN experts

    The UN/CEFACT Transport & Logistics Domain working group for the standardization of electronic data exchange has extended its interim meeting at the Ministry of Transport for a visit to the Grand Port Maritime du Havre on Thursday 1 February. In this context, Jérôme Besancenot, GPMH's IT Director and coordinator of the UN-CEFACT working group, joined Olivier Jean-Degauchy, SOGET's Product Manager, to present Le Havre's innovative solutions. Fluidity, security and interoperability are the three pillars of an integrated Le Havre-based solution that aims to increase the performance of the transporst chain throughout the Seine Axis
